Les tic en els processos d'aprenentatge: anàlisi de l'ús d'entorns no presencials en seqüències didàctiques reals

    The doctoral thesis entitled 'ICT in the learning process: Analysis of the use of non-classroom environments in real didactic sequences' analyses and describes six educational projects designed by three public schools of secondary education in Catalonia. The study follows an interpretative paradigm and uses the case study method. The projects organize the subjects in a globalized manner and define the learning goals based on competence development. The research draw on follow-ups and observation of virtual environments in each of the three centres, which use technology in a daily basis and a fully integrated manner. The theoretical analysis of the concept of learning has enabled us to specify and update features of the learning process made by different authors. It also allowed us to identify the pedagogical design as a key element that facilitate the competence development among students. On the other hand, the study of the relationship between information and knowledge as well as the study of digital competence allowed us to define the current teacher’s and student’s profile in ICT. We found clear connections with the theoretical framework in the globalized didactic approaches of the three schools. The six projects under study illustrate how technology is fully integrated in the successful educational designs
