    Resum:
This dissertation encompasses an interdisciplinary examination of a collection of architectural reliefs depicting choral performance scenes, including dance, procession, and music. The materials were part of a complex iconographic discourse that was projected in the public space of the poleis and their surroundings, which were distributed in three areas (continental and insular Greece, Asia Minor, and Southern Italy) in the Archaic and Classical periods. The objective of this investigation is to demonstrate and communicate, through the medium of iconography, archaeology, and literature, the process by which the cultural phenomenon of the Greek chorus, through ritualized movement and the orchestration of myth, helped to define public space and simultaneously marked and accompanied ancient Greek society.
