    Abstract:
This research brings an approach to the right to strike and the main limits presented. Broadly, it studies the current legislation, its ownership and the main characteristics that define it. Secondly, it studies the main limit of the right to strike: the maintenance of the basic services. The project brings a jurisprudential analysis of this right, a conceptual approach and the consequences caused. Finally, an analysis has been made about the types of strike which currently are considered illegal or abusive, offering a conceptualitzation of each one of them as well as the different kinds and the consequences that they have. The main aim of this research is to extract clear and strong conclusions about the most relevant aspects of the right to strike through a jurisprudential analysis of this subject. The study concludes with a critical analysis about the lack of regulation of this right and the coalitions with other constituionally protected rights, as well as offer a personal point of view of the most relevant questions of this issue.
