Abstract:
In the present work we want to go into detail about the study of cooperative values and their integration in the Spanish and Catalan legal system in terms of their possible loss of identity. The theme is introduced by a short exposition of the cooperative origins and its principles and values. Later we will see their evolution in our legislative tradition since the promulgation of the first cooperative law until the current legislative framework. Finally it has done a detailed study of how as they set up in the new cooperative law of Catalonia through a section dedicated to each of them. We will define what current cooperative model is presented and the form as it approaches to the capital corporation model. The ultimate purpose trough this study is to determine if this cooperative model remains respectful and faithful to the cooperatives values which have inspired all cooperatives around the world.
