Abstract:
The final degree work "Dela's Tea" is a business plan. The project is based on the creation of a tea shop in the city of Tarragona. The promoters of this idea are Delia Gonzalez and Laura Millan. The structure of our work is based on making a theoretical part and a practical part. In theory we refer to all the features that our business, especially highlighting our flagship product: tea. We explain what our tearoom and where it is located, we refer to the objectives we have both long and short term, we do a thorough analysis of the environment through SWOT, we present the hierarchical organization will our business, we create a plan marketing based on sales forecasts and we have a plan of operations refers to everything that has to do with our store. Moreover, as economic and financial issues are concerned, we have done a very thorough analysis to determine whether our project is viable or not. To reach that conclusion we made use of the following tools: a financing plan for the creation of business accounts (annual and monthly) results, cash budget, cash flow statement, balance sheet, a certain financial ratios, profitability analysis, NPV, IRR and Payback. Our work is based on the following steps in order to get the result we expected: a totally new project, to draw attention and to be realistic so that numerical results are concerned.
