Synthesis and characterization of imidazolium-oxazoline salts

    Abstract:
    Three new imidazolium-oxazoline salts have been synthetized for their future application in metal catalyzed asymmetric transformations. Two of them have been characterized by 1H and 3C {1H} NMR. The spectral assignments were based on information from {1H, 1H} and {1H, 13C} correlation experiments. The imidazolium salts are composed of an imidazole moiety and an oxazoline group coupled by a nucleophile addition.
