  • Identification data

    Identifier:  TFG:1286
    Authors:  Panisello Cohí, M. Teresa
    Abstract:
The older population is one of the most vulnerable in our society, and is likely to acquire chronic diseases. The aim of this literature review is to identify new factors which promote healthy ageing. Three databases (Scopus, Pubmed and Cinahl) were used in the bibliographic search, between October 2016 and January 2017. A total of 110 articles were obtained of which 20 articles were selected, applying the criteria of inclusion and exclusion. The analysis of results has been divided into four categories: factors related to social relations, factors related to new technologies, factors related to spirituality and factors related to forgiveness. All factors will provide a positive impact on a biopsychosocial level. Considering these factors, the power of nursing professionals stands out at the time of encouraging and promoting a more active and healthy aging.
