    Abstract:
Ionic Liquids (IL) are non-flammable, non-volatile liquid-room sales that recently emerged offering a wide range of applications in the industry. Today, they are considerate the great alternative in solvents, electrolytes, lubricants, etc. Their chemical and physical properties make IL the innovative liquids for chemical processes. Recently Ionic Liquids have been proposed as absorbents in the absorption and refrigeration cycles. The main objective of this project is the analysis of the effect of the temperature in the near infrared spectrum of four ionic liquids. A second objective, which previous results are presented, is evaluate IL ability to absorb water as a function of temperature. The spectra obtained was performed using spectral analysis and chemometric analysis were carried out through principal component analysis (PCA) and evolving factor analysis (EFA). From this analysis, we can see that in ionic liquids the cation-cation interactions decrease as the temperature increases and cation-anion interactions are favored which are closely linked to the viscosity. In addition, with the Ionic liquid and water mixtures, the capacity to absorb water is modified according to the mass fraction of water present in the mixture.
