    Abstract:
Nowadays, ecologic fertilizers are of great importance and their use increases the concentration of copper in the soils of the vineyard. A high concentration of copper in the soils can be harmful; therefore, in this project a method for the determination of copper was developed to be able to determine the concentration of copper in the soils of vineyard. The cooper was determined by atomic absorption spectroscopy after an extraction of copper from the soil. Four different extraction methods were evaluated, namely NH4OAc and Mehlich-1 for the exchange copper, EDTA for available copper and Mehlich-3 for total copper. The Mehlich-1 method was ruled out due to low extraction power. To validate the methods the repeatability, the recovery and the uncertainty were determined. In the samples that had low repeatability the calculations were not performed.
