Abstract:
Since 2008, the Spanish State is immersed in a situation of economic and social crisis, and as a result of this situation in Spain, the robberies in the tourist areas, and specifically in the beaches of the territory, s 'have seen increased One of the places where most robberies take place is on the beaches. Swimmers often leave their belongings unattended and it is at this moment of distraction when personal objects can be extracted. In 2014, 14% of respondents from the towns of the Costa del Baix Penedès were victims of a robbery on the beach, although 97% of the respondents were in favor of placing lockers on the sand. Updating the data, in 2018, 40.7% of respondents was the victim of a robbery on the beach while 82.8% of respondents were in favor of installing a ticketing system. Based on these data, in an area where I am familiar and visited frequently and, to try to avoid these facts, the idea arose to install a box office system on the beach. The project consists of offering an automatic ticket office system designed to provide individual, autonomous and temporary storage of personal belongings to the beaches. The business will be located on the beach of Calafell, in the Baix Penedès region. We find the need to offer the bather the chance to store his personal belongings in automatic, high-security "ticket offices", so that he can enjoy the moment without worrying about watching over his belongings. It is a service that can be in great demand, since Calafell is one of the main tourist areas of the Baix Penedès and still has no such service
