Economy of the common good: a model applicable to the current system?

Abstract:
The economy and the model of society in which one lives is a concern of general interest, since it depends on the well-being of the people who are part of it. This paper aims to explain the Economy for the Common Good and its application at the actual time, an innovative economic model that focuses on the cohesion of the values that favor human relations with the economy, such as sustainability, dignity and cooperation. Through a theoretical review, the critiques and main problems of implantation of the model are analyzed. In addition, two practical applications of the model are carried out in two different companies: one from the public sector and the other from private sector. This system therefore proposes a balance to measure the contribution of companies to the common good or social welfare. Finally, the results of the application of this model in society are valued.
