Abstract:
This work entitled: Analysis of the regulations for the regulation of financial institutions: will they comply with the new requirements established by the new Basel III agreement? is based on a theoretical study of the Basle regulations, specifically the new regulations in force, the Basel III regulation. It is characterized in an analysis of some financial entities and insurance companies, in order to observe whether or not they are governed by the new regulations. For this reason, previously it is done a tour of the precedents of said regulations until arriving at the current one, seeing the deficiencies and needs that carried out several modifications in the agreements. An approximation of the ratios is made as close as possible to the ratios established by Basel in order to answer the main question of the work. And by analyzing the graphs built thanks to the ratios, we can see how financial entities are beginning to be governed by regulations and that insurance companies are not. A totally surprising result, seeing that the past of the financial entities is not so good, gives a signal of hope in the financial system and the assurance that the future that awaits us resonate the words of innovation, security, strength and harmony.
