  • Identification data

    Identifier:  TFG:1789

    Abstract:
Sleep apnea-hipopnea syndrome is a chronic disease that causes repeated episodes of the partial or total occlusion of the upper airways (pharynx) during sleep. Currently in Spain the treatment is based on a medical intervention that reduces the symptomatology. OBJECTIVE: Doing this dissertation we wanted to do a tracking of a patient diagnosed with SAHOS in order to analyse all the advantages and shortcomings that it has. With the purpose to delve into the knowledge about the disease we’ve done a review from recent literature. Finally we’ve written a proposal of a supplementary treatment related to physiotherapy based on our patient characteristic.
