Abstract:
The Camp de Tarragona and les Terres de l’Ebre have become the dump of Catalonia. For years, Southern Catalonia has received an industrial overload, both petrochemical and nuclear, which has been installed in the territory without limits or controls. This area has also been deprived of some benefits present in other parts of the Catalan territory, such as adequate services of public transport. All these conflicts, which have surfaced in Tarragona but, on different occasions, have not crossed the borders of the demarcation, have remained in our house, silenced by the large media of generalist scope, which have not given them visibility. With the eagerness to give voice to these situations and conflicts, ‘En peu de guerra’ is born, a web platform that carries out a detailed analysis of seven social movements of the Camp de Tarragona i les Terres de l’Ebre: la Plataforma en Defensa de l’Ebre, la Comissió per la retirada dels símbols franquistes de Tortosa, la Plataforma Trens Dignes Terres de l’Ebre – Priorat, la Plataforma per la Defensa del Patrimoni Natural del Priorat, l’Associació Prioritat, Alveolus i la Plataforma Cel net.
