Abstract:
This year, the entertainment club Front Reusenc celebrates 30 years following the roller hockey club of its city, Reus Deportiu. These are many years to go unnoticed. Years of many experiences, of passion, friendship, of rivalries, of pride, of dedication and of feeling for red-and-black colours. The celebration is the starting point that will lead us discover the most important goals of the entertainment club, but also the history of its team. Victories, defeats, anecdotes, everything is put together in order to publicize the trajectory of this singular group that continues to admire the king of sports in Reus. It is the premise of Loyal to our colours. 30 years of Front Reusenc (1988-2018), a multimedia report that keeps track of the club, from the year of its foundation, in 1988, to the present, in which we can verify that the essence of its members and the illusion they share continues intact. We follow them during these years and review their task, sometimes invisible and full of fidelity. We have detected that there is little echo of the club because of several factors: the little dissemination that has made the club about their own activity during the last 30 years and the little interest of the media of the territory for the Front Reusenc. This is why we seek out the origins of the club, as well as the values that have led it to celebrate this event. We cover their trips, sometimes friendly, but also tense. We incorporate different voices that have been linked to the club over the years and those of the ones that continue being part of the Front Reusenc. We recall situations that have a touch of humour, but we also emphasize events that marked a before and after of the club. And we ask for the opinion of the role the club has played during these 30 years: ¿has it been key in many of the successes of the hockey made in Reus?
