    Abstract:
Introduction: Cerebrovascular accidents (CVA) or stroke are one of the main causes of mortality and morbidity in adults. The presence of spasticity, difficulty in balance, decreased muscle function, and the loss of functionality are the most common symptoms. The Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) is a therapeutic concept used to treat neurological disorders, traumatic and orthopaedic processes. Objectives: To reduce spasticity and increase the Muscular Balance (BM) in order to improve the safety and fluidity of the patient's gait. To increase the mobility of the Upper Right Extremity (URE), providing an increase of their functionality.
