Abstract:
Nowadays, three billion people use Social Media two hours per day on average. This is a great advantage and opportunity for businesses that use this media to launch advertisements campaigns about their products and/or services, as they can create a need for a user who is constantly on Social Media. I aimed to take advantage the users’ intensive usage of the aforementioned platforms to carry out an implementation of a business model based on Affiliate Marketing. Which can be defined as a marketing model where its affiliates are the agents who promote services and/or products of a given company. This promotion can be done through different webs, channels, affiliate programs, among others, in order to reach a public, complete a sale, which in turn, becomes a commission for the affiliate. In this project, I played the affiliate role, this involved choosing between different online channels, services to capture traffic and affiliate platforms, to create a business as efficient and effective as possible.
