Abstract:
The following project will analyze the economic and financial viability of the idea of a teleassistance device that focuses on the health and well-being of the elderly. To study the viability, all the characteristic aspects of a business plan are examined. Firstly, the business idea, the team, the mission, vision and values of the organization are presented as well as the product that is intended to be marketed. Following, a market study is carried out identifying the business opportunity, exploring the environments that may affect it, the sector to which it belongs and the existing competition in the current market. Next, the marketing strategy and the marketing plan are presented, identifying the four marketing mix policies: product, price, promotion and placement, as well as the target that is divided between users and buyers. Subsequently, the operations plan is defined where the outsourcing strategy is detailed using outsourcing to achieve a competitive advantage. The organizational structure is then determined on the human resources plan. Finally, an economic-financial study is carried out in order to evaluate the viability of the project. The income statement shows how the company will obtain benefits on the third year. However, it will not be until the fourth when positive cash flows are begun due to the elevated cost structure. The feasibility indicators analyzed have illustrated these initial difficulties that the business will experience and put in doubt its execution. However, its long-term viability is shown, and may be of interest for the small initial contributions from the entrepreneurs.
