PTSDDB: PTSD putative biomarkers metadata compilation

Abstract:
This project approaches the challenge of integrate and establish consensus on the knowledge discovery of post-traumatic stress disorder, with a particular focus on the putative biomarkers, compiling experimental evidence from the literature. For this aim, an integrative database, which organizes the evidence content and metadata has been modeled and populated, and a web application has been developed offering the researcher a usable and accessible tool. Finally, a consensus analysis is established regarding into the direction of the relative change of biomarkers due to the effect of the pathology.
