    Abstract:
The project consists in the design of a loading and unloading system through rotary multiways. The products to be stored and distributed are 16 different lubricating oils, products of the same family but different according to their specifications. These oils will be stored in 16 tanks and each tank will be connected to the rotary multiways. This multiways will result in a point of loading and unloading of tanks or packers. The application of the rotary multiways offers the following advantages: - Allows to empty or fill the desired tank from a single point of loading or unloading. - Ensures the sealed connection and under pressure of a set of pipes. - Being pigable allows the entire piping system of the installation to be pigged, thus ensuring the cleaning of the system and avoiding contamination. The pigging does not eliminate 100% of the product in the pipe, but what remains in the walls does not affect the specification of the product. - Pigging with nitrogen (inert gas) to prevent the presence of oxygen from the air that can cause oxidation reactions in oils. In this case, the system is designed so that it can work in / out, that is, that it can receive the product, store it and send it to the process, or store and distribute the final product that is in process.
