    Abstract:
Since the origin of the First Industrial Revolution, the economy and consumption have laid their foundations on a linear economy model, characterized by the culture of waste and the production of single-use items. In recent years, the use of this model has led to fatal environmental consequences for terrestrial and aquatic life on planet Earth: the exponential reduction of natural resources and an increase in waste that ends up dumped into the environment. Faced with this critical situation, a new economic model is born, which is based on the circularity of products and materials. This circular system is the most sustainable and adequate economic solution to solve the climate problem. It is time to adopt this model as the central axis of business activities and leave behind the linear conceptions and consumer human behaviours that have led the planet to live in a transcendental situation. The model is currently incorporated into corporations in three different ways depending on the type of company which is the object of analysis.
