    Abstract:
    This work has been done in the center of R&D of the Chemical Intermediate Division of ERCROS. It consists of two parts completely different, but the aim of both projects is to determine properties of own products using analytical techniques. The first project involves the development of a method to determine the curing reaction exothermic and stability of different molding powder samples using a thermal analysis technique, the Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC). The molding powder are the product itself and are thermosetting polymers with a wide field of application. In the second project, the developed method is using a chromatographic technique, the gel permeation chromatography (GPC). In this technique, the separation occurs based on the size of the analytes. The product itself are resins and purpose of the project is to determine the molecular weight distribution of these. In both projects have been proposed some improvements which could achieve better results.
