Study of the waste water treatment plant from an alimentary factory

Abstract:
The present final degree project raises the problem of purifying wastewater from an slaughterhouse, in which a study of a wastewater treatment plant has been carried out, in order to reduce the critical parameters and obtain an treated water stream with a quality to be discharged directly into the urban channel. The facilities of this plant consist of a pretreatment, a primary treatment for the oil and fats remvoal, a secondary treatment for the organic matter and nitrogen elimination, and the obtained sludge treatment. It has been designed any unit operation equipment.
