Abstract:
The present thesis has two main objectives to study epithelial restoration in the course of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), i) identification of biomarkers associated to epithelial restoration processes by ELISA technique and ii) in situ monitoring of those biomarkers by integrating in vitro IBD model to a SPR biosensing module.
