Validation and Accreditation of a method for the determination of metals in different matrix by ICP-MS

    Abstract:
    Abstract Nowadays if a laboratory wants to guarantee the quality of their results, their technical competence and to have an international reputation it requires the UNE1-EN2 ISO3/IEC4 17025 accreditation, which for simplicity is told ISO 17025. The main aim of this Project is to validate a method for the simultaneous determination of eleven metals in two different kind of water; Continental water and current drinking water. Once validated, the laboratory will apply for the accreditation of ISO 17025 to the Entitat Nacional d’Acreditació (ENAC). The following step will be the visits of a group of specialized auditors with the purpose of evaluate all the factors that contribute on the obtaining of the reliable results.
