    Abstract:
This project highlights a series of methods for the determination of creatinine’s concentration in human fluids, which is considered a biomarker for kidney failure. Traditional methods present some practical and economic problems. A potentiometric approach is proposed as a solution to these problems. Due to the presence of different interferences in samples, sensor arrays are developed to determine the concentration of the analyte, developing a multivariant model for this purpose. A series of articles, where they have used sensor arrays to determine different species in different samples have been studied in order to demonstrate the importance of these systems and study the different optimizations in the last years. In order to minimize the construction costs of these systems, a series of low-cost materials used as sensor substrates are shown.
