“Quimi-què?”: design, production and edition of a new scientific dissemination program in radio and social networks

Abstract:
This project is dedicated to explain how was “Quimi-què?” designed, produced and edited as a new radio program focused on scientific dissemination in l’Espluga FM Ràdio and Ràdio Montblanc. Throughout the project, scientific, informative and journalistic knowledges have been worked in interdisciplinary ways in order to make chemistry available for the general public in a simple and funny way. The result of this project are six radio programs called “Quimi-què?” which have been emitted during lasts three months in Conca’s de Barberà local radios. Moreover, in this project some details related to the number of listeners, chemistry’s perception, scientific culture and mass media, as well as its impact in social networks are shown.
