Quimi-què? cience divulgation through radio and social media. New programs, new section and technical adaptation to the COVID-19 context

Abstract:
This paper is dedicated to explain how a scientific divulgation project has been carried out through a radio program called “Quimi-què?”, where there have been designed, produced and edited radio programs broadcasted at Radio Montblanc and Espluga FM Ràdio. This scientific divulgation has also been carried out through social networks. The results are 7 new radio programs, emitted between February and June 2020, and 7 posts on social media explaining experiments that can be performed at home. Furthermore, the design of a new section with young people from La Conca de Barberà is explained, and how the program has been adapted to the COVID-19 context. Finally, an evaluation of the audience of the radio programs was carried out, as well as an assessment survey of the project’s followers and the analysis of the data obtained on social networks.
