    Abstract:
Comparative study of electricity rate for the optimization and efficiency of electric energy consumption. AUTHOR: Gerard Uriarte Castillo SUPERVISOR: Jordi García Amorós gerard.uriarte@estudiants.urv.cat Summary. In order to make a comparative study of electricity rates for the optimization of electricity consumption, it has been analyzed each of the current rates at the date of writing of this project, belonging to the electric companies, that also offer the rate regulated by the state, for contracts linked to levels equal or less than 10kW power in a given period of time. Therefore, we have designed two applications by Matlab program. The first analyzes the cost of electricity for each hour of energy and, depending on consumption, we estimated the daily cost. The next application, which solves the total of rates, is the most optimal for a selected day. As a result of the analysis, the cheapest fare is the one regulated by the state 2.0DHA.
