    Abstract:
    Design and implementation of improvements in an automatic ion meter. AUTHOR: Francisco Guerrero López SUPERVISOR: Eduard Llobet Valero e-mail address: fguerrero.pgl@gmail.com Abstract. This project was carried out in the company NT Sensors SL, a company dedicated to bring to market a new kind of technology based on carbon nanotubes analytical sensors. Among their products we find the AMI C7, with which we work, fully automated instrument for the simultaneous determination of several ions in water, wastewater, hydroponic, algae reactors ... Our job was to give this product complete independence because AMI C7 needed computer software to run, on the other hand, we have introduced an 4-20 mA analog output, to meet various demands of the industrial sector, and finally, we have incorporated an Arduino UNO, which in this first prototype simply serve as support for the PIC18F4550 microcontroller, which uses our ion meter, and allow us to implement a variety of improvements in our design, in this case incorporate an SD card where you keep all the data recorded by the AMIC C7.
