Online language learning in virtual classrooms – an analysis of student perceptions

    Abstract:
    This study addresses the success that OLL achieved thanks to virtual systems, and it develops the importance of this type of teaching, its benefits and drawbacks, and the remarkable change that it caused on the industry of teaching, financially and ethically. The main goals were to find out if this success is also present in the level of enjoyment and effectiveness of the classes according to students. The results showed that OLL is effective, and that the majority of participants only enjoy learning online momentarily, as most of them are enrolled in OLL for professional and academic purposes.
