    Abstract:
This Final Project to Bachelor’s Degree entitled Interactive Climbing Training Wall, it’s about the realization of a functional and interactive climbing wall prototype, which allows training and running competitions using technology. To make this prototype, three different demonstrators have been programmed with the ATMEGA2560 microcontroller and using Microchip's Microchip Studio programming environment. The main demonstrator consists of a wooden climbing panel that measures 70 centimeters high per 40 centimeters wide and is controlled by Bluetooth from a cellular phone application made with the MIT APP INVENTOR tool. In this wall, 8 climbing holds have been screwed. Each hold has two associated LEDs: one inserted into the climbing wall of different colors, depending on whether the hold is used as start, intermediate or top, and the other from a matrix of 8x8 LEDs. These LEDs can be turned on and off independently. Pressure sensors have also been incorporated in the start and top holds. These sensors allow monitoring the ascent time of the chosen climbing route. Finally, the result of the ascent time is sent by Bluetooth to the cellular phone application and displayed on an LCD screen for 4 seconds. For the management test of the LEDs of a real climbing interactive wall, a demonstrator of 128 LEDs has been programmed. Each LED can be switched on and off independently from a Bluetooth terminal of a cellular phone. Finally, an idea has been proposed to tilt the interactive climbing wall between 25 and 65 degrees by managing two stepper motors form a Bluetooth terminal of a cellular phone.
