    Abstract:
    Report on my experience after seven months as a student of Social worker in practicum. Analysis based on observation and contact with users and their families, taking into account the origin and family characteristics of the person entered. Study of the family ties they keep after their admission to the centre, and of the feeling of solitude and abandonment they can experience, sharing opinions with workers and relatives, through interviews with them.
