    Abstract:
This project is dedicated to the investigation of accommodation agreement, mainly in the hotelkeeper’s liability field for the properties the guests introduced in their establishment. The first point of our study is dedicated to a small historic introduction to get to know the origin and evolution of accommodation for centuries. The second point is dedicated to learning about the figure of accommodation agreements, due to the fact that we don’t find a wide regulation in our legal system. Characteristics and obligations of the parties and texts where accommodation finds support are some of the issues we are going to talk about. The third point is the main reason of our investigation: the liability of the hotelkeeper in case of damage or loss of a guest’s property. Also, we will solve questions related to the damage clients can suffer to their physical integrity, the automobiles they bring with them, that they keep on the hotel’s grounds, and even the animals they take with them (as long as the establishment allows pets on site). To finish it off, the fourth point will be made up of the conclusions reached after our investigation, in what situation we believe the accommodation sector is in nowadays, and what measures or acts can be brought in for it's progress.
