Analysis of the composition of the intestinal microbiota of wild and captive individuals in vertebrate species

  • Identification data

    Identifier:  TFG:6962
    Authors:  Ferrero Ramos, Arey
    Abstract:
The differences in the composition of the intestinal microbiota of wild and captive individuals of vertebrate species are studied. The data have been organized into relative abundance matrices. This has made it possible to carry out a study of the differences between the diversities of these two groups of individuals for each species of vertebrate and which dietary or environmental factors can explain them. It has also made it possible to carry out a similar study of the similarities and find a correlation between the behavior of these and that of the diversities for all the vertebrate species analysed. Finally, the nestedness value of all relative abundance matrices has been calculated.
