Abstract:
Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic autoimmune disease characterized by inflammation and degradation of peripheral joints. Your diagnosis in the early stages is fundamental to avoid its evolution and to treat it correctly. Currently, the diagnostic tests available are not sufficiently specific and sensitive, so the objective of this work is to identify our biomarkers. Based on serum samples from a cohort formed by a group of independent controls and a group with primary rheumatoid arthritis and using a metabolomic approach, a panel of metabòlits has been compiled with a primary diagnostic tool using statistical programs.
