    Authors:  Bosch Marín, Carolina
    Abstract:
The island of El Hierro is the most diverse in the Canary Islands for grapevines, one of the species most affected by the loss of biodiversity due to the phylloxera plague, climate change, and the homogenization of wines due to marketing and legislation. The main objective of this work is to characterize and identify samples of Vitis vinifera L. from this island. For this, the Microsatellite or SSR (Simple Sequence Repeats) technique with 20 Molecular Markers has been used.
