Abstract:
Renewable energies, such as solar energy, are fundamental to the transition to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly economy. However, its implementation involves several concerns, especially regarding the environmental, economic and social impact on land previously intended for other uses, such as agriculture. This final degree project focuses on the study of the landscape externality of the Constantí 42 solar park and the main objective is to evaluate the landscape impact of the park by means of the contingent assessment method. This approach allows quantifying the perception of the value of a non-commercial asset, such as the landscape, through surveys that measure the willingness to be compensated by individuals to assess this change.
