    Abstract:
    The Final Degree Project is entitled “Segregations in Les Terres de l’Ebre: centuries XIX and XX”, takes a historical look at the city map of Les Terres de l’Ebre and analyses its evolution from its origins, focusing especially in the segregation that occurred the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. It goes deeper into the drawn from the local regulation of each period, which will provide the basis for determining the requirements and conditions to initiate the expedients of segregation. They are enumerated and placed chronologically. Also describe briefly the totally of the segregation processes. Furthermore, in order to deepen the evolutionary study of the legal procedure established in every century it has been carried out a specific analysis of the towns called Ametlla de Mar (XIX century) and Ampolla (XX century), which belonged to the same village, El Perelló. Finally, a comparison is made between the most important aspects of both cases in order to reach conclusions regarding the evolution and changes undergone in the way of obtaining the municipal independence.
