Optimizing Security and Interoperability in Decentralized Wallets: A Multi-Platform Solution Using Blockchain and IPFS

    Identifier:  TFG:8297
    Authors:  Miguel Rodríguez, Ignacio
    Abstract:
The rise of decentralized applications (dApps) has increased the need for secure key management in virtual wallets. Managing and syncing keys across devices, especially in cases of device loss, poses significant challenges. A solution is proposed involving a mobile app and a browser plugin. The mobile app stores and views keys, while the plugin, developed for Chrome, manages dApp access and key creation. A smart contract on the blockchain facilitates communication, and IPFS is used for secure key storage and recovery. The system ensures secure, user-friendly key management with quick execution for critical tasks like adding dApps or recovering keys.
