Abstract:
The project responds to the need to rethink how we live in a context of housing crisis, depopulation and loss of community. Through the Convent of Sant Agustí, in Selva del Camp, a new model of temporary and flexible housing is proposed that connects people, memory and territory. Faced with an urbanism that has favored peripheral growth and disconnected from the population, the proposal proposes a critical rehabilitation with adaptable typologies inserted in the convent and the historic center. More than a reform, it is a reproducible essay that understands living as a collective process, capable of regenerating identity, space and community.
