Cost-Effectiveness Comparision Between aCGH 60K Platform and aCGH 180K Platform: Retrospective Analysis of Diagnostic Techniques for Neurodevelopmental Disorders and Congenital Malformations caused by a Genetic Alteration

Abstract: Demostrar que la plataforma CGH 60K presenta la millor relació cost-efectivitat per al diagnòstic genètic en pacients amb trastorns del neurodesenvolupament. S'ha dut a terme una anàlisi retrospectiva dels resultats de la tècnica CGH 60K i 180K per a pacients prenatals i postnatals entre 2016 i 2023 a l'Hospital Universitari Sant Joan de Reus. De totes les 215 proves realitzades amb la matriu CGH 180K, excepte 2, s'haurien pogut fer amb la matriu CGH 60K. La implantació de la plataforma CGH 60K en el diagnòstic de trastorns del neurodesenvolupament suposa un benefici en termes de cost-efectivitat.; Demonstrate that the array CGH 60K platform presents the best rate cost-effective for the genetic diagnosis in patients with neurodevelopmental disorders. A retrospective analysis of the results from the array CGH technique 60K and 180K for prenatal and postnatal patients between 2016 and 2023 at the Hospital Universitari Sant Joan de Reus has been carried out. From all the 215 tests performed with the array CGH 180K, except of 2, could have been done with the array CGH 60K. The implantation of the array CGH 60K platform in the diagnosis of neurodevelopmental disorders supposes a benefit in terms of cost-effectiveness.; Demostrar que la plataforma array CGH 60K presenta la mejor relación coste-efectividad para el diagnóstico genético en pacientes con trastornos del neurodesarrollo. Se realizó un análisis retrospectivo de los resultados de las técnicas array CGH 60K y 180K en pacientes prenatales y posnatales entre 2016 y 2023 en el Hospital Universitario Sant Joan de Reus. De las 215 pruebas realizadas con la técnica array CGH 180K, solo 2 podrían haberse realizado con la técnica array CGH 60K. La implantación de la plataforma array CGH 60K en el diagnóstico de trastornos del neurodesarrollo supone un beneficio en términos de coste-efectividad.
