    Abstract: The present project focuses on modifying the packaging stage in a kitchen paper production line, aiming to optimize the current process by changing the type of plastic used. The plant, located in Puigpelat (Tarragona), aims to transition from the current polyolefin to a polyethylene (PE) with recycled content (PCR), in response to customer demand and the company's commitment to sustainability. The current polyolefin used in the production of packaging rolls has historically exhibited significant variability, leading to operational issues that directly impact the uniformity and quality of the manufactured products
