Road to Factory 4.0 Innovation and continuous improvement in vehicles wiring manufacturing

    Abstract:
    This is an innovation project that is focused on the continuous improvement of the manufacturing process of vehicle wiring. It was realized in an important territory company, from the point of view of the Quality and with the professionals help. It presents a study of the current state of the manufacturing, in order to learn about the process and to determine the characteristics and deficiencies susceptible of improvement. With a complete learning and the use of the most appropriate quality tools, the deficiencies have been analyzed and those that are more critical for the process have been prioritized. Subsequently, the development shows a complete analysis by the different blocks, such as communication, traceability or the tasks of operators, among others. With the follow-up proposals for improvement and compilation of expected results, the road to Factory 4.0 is quite near. Tarragona 2017
