Abstract: The arrival of a peripheral railway station in the municipality of Cambrils generates a new situation from which many questions arise. What will happen to the roads and the current station? What is the future of the new station? What uses, and activities will there be in their environment? How ii would be its accessibility? What rail services will it have? What role will this station play in the Camp de Tarragona as a whole? The present study does not delve into all these areas, even so, the objective focuses on analyzing the supply and demand of the current station and how relocation can affect, in terms of accessibility. In this way, communication can affect mobility practices in the municipality (1) and this can modify the profile of the traveller who uses and the way to access it (2).
