Abstract:
Dialogic learning has become established as a powerful transformative alternative in education (Flecha, 2004). Dialogic Gatherings in several fields increase the learning of the students and offer an efficient pedagogical experience which has positive effects on them, both at a level of content and personal one. Coexistence, motivation and attention are improved; educational and social inequalities are overcome due to equal dialogue. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze how Dialogic Musical Gatherings (DMG), seen as Successful Educational Actions (SEA), can have a positive impact on approaching classical music to secondary education students, supported by several theoretical basis (Bruner, 2000; Chomsky, 1977; Freire, 1997; Habermans, 2003; Vygotski, 1995). Listening to pieces of music in interactive groups makes the comprehension easy and allows us to understand the history of universal music. It also helps to acquire the necessary knowledge to think and understand the world we live in and, at the same time, makes our integration into society easy. The obtained results allow us to promote the DMG as an alternative to the traditional musical learning and to show a SEA as a transformative experience which affects the improvement of the educational system.
