    Abstract:
    Formulation of a new food contact coating according to EU regulation 10/2011 In this project we studied de problematic associated to the formulation of new paint coatings, examining the legislative requirements associated to the commercialization of food grade products in UE. According to the limitations specified in the UE Regulation 20/2011, we chose carefully the materials and the related information given by the providers. Once the composition of the product was formulated we proceed to produce it in a lab scale, control its quality and determine their proprieties, readjusting the formulation to achieve the proposed specifications goals.
