    Abstract:
The work focuses on a hillside of human resources. It’s a laboral motivation study on the ten companies with highest turnover in the Terres de l'Ebre, to see if they comply Herzberg motivation theory and verify if what really motivates them are aspects intrinsic to the job, not monetary factors. To carry out this investigation, I interviewed managers of each company through a qualitative tool such as interviews with which different aspects have been analyzed to see if they complied with the theory and to be able to appreciate if the salary is what motivates employees. As a result, we extract that 60% of companies in this zone follow the stipulated theory’s Herzberg and, therefore, workers are motivated different work factors, making the wage occupy a less importance place, valuing more being able to work in a good environment and get recognition for the activity performed.
