    Abstract:
In this report the implantation of Lean Manufacturing in Repsol Química S.A. is described, specifically in the Operational Logistics department. This way of working consists in the improvement of the efficiency and it was conceived in Toyota’s automobile factory, by Taiichi Ohno. The aim of this methodology is to find tools in order to reduce the wasting materials, increase the value of the products and create a mentality of continuous improvement. Throughout this study, tools for the monitoring and collecting of data have been developed and implemented thanks to the creation of several dictionaries of incidents as well as spreadsheets for later analysis. As a result of this analysis and its derivative actions the stay time of the vehicles in the chemical complex has been significantly reduced, improving both efficiency and security. Nevertheless, Lean pursues a mentality change when working, and due to this being a method that is not searching immediate upgrade but improvement of original approaches to obtain long-lasting results.
