Abstract:
This bachelor paper which I title ''Online Reputation in the Costa Daurada's Hotels'' is a project that, through an analysis of hotel market in the municipalities of Cambrils and Salou, and the cities of Reus and Tarragona, asks whether the online reputation and monitoring software, HotelNavigator, may have a future among the hotels in the area. The project describes the current situation of hotels, marked by the emergence of online travel agencies, an increase in the hotel’s competition, a change in the perception of the quality of goods and services and the use of the reason by customers through online opinion websites. The project includes the responses of directors, marketing managers and other professionals in the world of hospitality, while answering the possible use of HotelNavigator as a marketing tool for the management of the reputation of the establishment. Finally, it concludes that the product may have a niche market in the studied area and spread throughout the territory.
